METALLURGICAL COKE
Used as iron ore reducing agent in blast furnaces; in reducing other minerals such as manganese and silicon on manufacturing ferroalloys; in recycling and recovering of waste steel powders and in production of calcium carbide.

The above mentioned perfect screening allows a supply of varied sizes to customers. For instance, the following screenings can be provided:

• 0/3 mm.
• 3/6 mm.
• 5/15 mm.
• 10/20 mm. etc.

DRY COKE
Principally used in the electric arc furnace steel industry, both for adding carbon to meltings and as a reducing agent of iron ore in the foaming slag process. It also used in the manufacture of electrodes.

Proper screens and the nine existing silos used for storage, with a capacity of approximately 1000 metrics tones, allow the supply of different sizes. As an example the following sizes can be obtained:

• 0/0,30 mm.
• 0,30/1 mm.
• 1/3 mm.
• +3 mm. etc.

always with a guaranteed moisture content of less than 0.5%.

In sizes under 3mm., usually identified as foaming slag Coke, its consumption is of vital importance to electric arc furnace steel industry in order to reduce melting times, as well as for greater refractory protection.

Our dry material is supplied in bulk, in tanker trucks, in big-bags and in bags of 10 to 18 kg.

Furthermore, quality is guaranteed by an integral quality control system and by a number of tests and analyses carried out on the product at our own laboratory and at third party homologated laboratories, in order to meet specifications required by our clients.

We also have solid fuels such as anthracite and refuels, all this backed by a long experience in the sector.
